Can I wear makeup after my treatment?
For most facials, yes — after a few hours. After microneedling or any treatment involving needles or micro-channels, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours. Mineral makeup is preferable if you need coverage sooner.
Is this the same as Ozempic or Wegovy?
Semaglutide is the active ingredient in both Ozempic and Wegovy. Tirzepatide is the active ingredient in Mounjaro and Zepbound. We prescribe the active compounds directly, which may come from a compounding pharmacy depending on availability and your provider’s recommendation.
Who is not a good candidate?
These medications are not appropriate for people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2, a history of pancreatitis, or who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
